Mordschlag Sword and Sorcery Magazine #0 ebook is ready for Backerkit backers!

Hey everybody, M. here,

I’ve been a little slow with blog updates these past few weeks though there have been a few developments I wanted to post about that I’ll probably get around to writing about later, but a rather big announcement today jumped to the top of my list of priorities!

I just read the exciting news earlier that Mordschlag Sword and Sorcery Magazine #0 is now available in ebook and PDF format for people who backed the Backerkit campaign from The Arcanist: Fantasy Publishing. So if you did, you should have some exciting action and adventure on the way to your eyeballs soon, including my new novelette Gnawed Bones.

Looks like it is going to be a little while longer before both the ebook and the print edition are available to buy, but if you want an early look and are of the reviewing persuasion, you can reach out to editor and publisher James D. Mills (author of the upcoming dark fantasy novel SOIL) about getting an advanced reader copy of the ebook.

And while you’re waiting for my latest tale of tribal warfare on the outskirts of an empire to hit the physical shelves, don’t hesitate to pick of a copy Kingdoms Trembling from DMR Books and immerse yourself in the weird, wild, mind-bending tales of blood and thunder therein. It explores a world slightly different from the one you’ll encounter in Gnawed Bones, but it’ll definitely get you in the zone.

More to come soon! Hope everyone is having a good Spooky Season! Mine hasn’t been particularly Halloweenie so far, but I’m reading In A Lonely Place by Karl Edward Wagner and I’ve got some time left, so I just might cobble together a movie marathon.

Take care everyone,
-M.
