M. Stern is an author of weird/horror fiction, sword & sorcery, science fiction, and sometimes other stuff. His stories have appeared in more than two dozen anthologies and magazines.

His debut sword & sorcery collection, Kingdoms Trembling, was picked as a 2026 Summer Read by Publishers Weekly.

He has had two stories appear on the Tangent Online Recommended Reading List.
